For my first post, I figure I’ll get things started quickly. I’ll do a lot of breaking down of play through’s on various games. I’m going to start with a Be A GM series with the St. Louis Blues.

I like to play any sports games as realistically as possible, so you wont see me trading five first round picks for Sidney Crosby. I’ll try and build the St. Louis Blues into a Stanley Cup champion while trying to keep as much realism as possible.

So let’s break a few things down. I have owner mode off, because I don’t feel like taking an extra few hours every season dealing with that. Computer trades, waivers, the salary cap are all on. Morale meetings, auto sign free agents, and assistant coach edit lines  are all set to off.

Injuries are set at 8, because any lower, and they never happen. Any higher and they happen every weeks. This is what I’ve found to be a happy medium. I’ll be simulating every game, mainly as a way to be able to stay updated.

A few things to start, I created a few of the Blues prospects that were not in the game, including Tage Thompson, Nolan Stevens, and Jake Walman.

I have edited players all around the league, but I’ll break down the overall of the Blues, since that is the team we will be following.
